HALAL

The sector presents products that have been certified by the Halal International Certification Center under the Council of the Muftis of the Russian Federation.

The Halal standard is a quality control system that is strict not only to products prohibited in Islam, but also to genetically modified products and ingredients. Also, many food additives are not allowed to be used in the production of food according to the Halal standard.

Among the exhibitors in the Halal section in different years were: Danton-Ptitseprom, the Halal International Certification Center under the Council of Muftis of the Russian Federation, Chaban (Nalchik Dairy Plant), Mytishchi Dairy Plant, NEO Product, Milkh.

WorldFood Moscow 2023 was visited by 20,115 directors and purchasing managers of wholesalers, retailers and catering companies. 7% (1 307) of visitors were interested in the products presented in the Halal sector.
